Who we are

Mintmay Support Services Ltd is a home care provider registered in England and Wales, company number 14595465, registered office 48 Bells Lane, Nottingham, NG8 6EW. We are the data controller for the information described here, and we are registered with the ICO, reference ZB719178.

What we collect, and why

We collect contact details when you enquire (name, phone number, message), and, for clients receiving care, health and care information needed to plan and deliver support safely. This is used to respond to enquiries, deliver and manage care, and meet our legal obligations to the Care Quality Commission.

Who we share it with

Only where necessary: the CQC as our regulator, NHS professionals involved in a client's care, local authority safeguarding teams where there's a genuine welfare concern, and service providers under written data processing agreements. We never sell personal information or use it for marketing without explicit consent.

How long we keep it

Client care records are kept in line with NHS and social care retention guidance, typically a minimum of 8 years after care ends (longer if the law requires). Enquiry details that don't lead to ongoing care are kept only as long as needed to respond, then deleted.

Your rights, and keeping your information secure

Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct, or erase your information, restrict or object to how it's used, or request it be moved to another provider. To do any of this, contact our registered manager and Data Protection Officer via our contact page. You can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk if you're unhappy with how we've handled your information.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including access controls, staff confidentiality training, and secure storage of records.
